Abstract
This paper presents a prototype for condition monitoring on subsea electronic modules. The proposed prototype is a model based tool and includes residual analysis for fault detection, considering the principal measurable variables on the electronic module. A hierarchical health index structure has been developed for this application which can be also extended to the rest of the subsystems. Prototype tests with real data considering healthy and faulty conditions have been performed to demonstrate the prototype potentials.
