Abstract
The problem of possible tampering and sabotage in nuclear plant control rooms is explored. It is concluded that a solution to this problem may be a self-defensive system: i.e., a system which will be able to recognize and deal with, if not all appropriate actions, at least that subset of actions which could lead to catastrophic consequences.<>
