Analysis of the operators´ reasoning dynamics during the simulation of recovery operations in response to complex accident conditions

An EDF (Electricite de France) study on the operators´ reasoning dynamics during the simulation of recovery operations in response to complex accident conditions is described. The analysis of the overall reasoning dynamics is specifically aimed at identifying which among the following elements-the procedures, the available data, or the crew reflections-result in the diagnosis formulation and especially in a diagnosis change. Preliminary results are discussed.<>
