An prediction study on the visitors per-day amount of Shanghai World Expo2010 based on web search data

The web search data, which recorded hundreds of millions searchers´ concerns and interests, reflected the trends of their behavior and provided essential data basis for the prediction study of the visitors per-day amount of Shanghai World Expo2010. This paper firstly analyzes the correlation between web search data and the visitors´ amount per-day of Shanghai World Expo2010, and then builds a conceptual model to analyze the web search data and the trip of visiting Expo2010. On the basis of this, the paper checks the co-integration relationship between web search data and the visitors´ per-day amount of Shanghai World Expo2010, and predicts the visitors´ amount of seven days.
