Abstract :
The transient electric fields, which originate from the operations of a high voltage experimental apparatus and Marx generator, were measured and analyzed by means of the Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) method. The planar-type electric field measuring system has been developed. The signal transmission system consists of optical fiber links to prevent the effect of electromagnetic disturbances. The electric field measuring system showed a very good step response characteristic and its frequency bandwidth was the range from 12 Hz to 12 MHz with an amplification factor of 5
