Using the method of expansion analysis of Gini coefficient, with GDP, energy consumption and population data of different income grade countries provided by the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the National Bureau of Statistics and other authoritative bodies, the article calculates Gini coefficients of GDP, energy consumption and energy consumption relative to GDP for different income grade countries between 1980 and 2008, analyzes the status of whole Gini coefficient of world economy and the change of the three Gini coefficients in 28 years, makes quantitative research on whole GDP of world economy, equilibrium level of energy consumption in different income grade countries and its changing trend.
