Abstract
Different biological species exhibit varying levels of adaptation to dynamically changing environments. This phenomenon is explored utilizing the dual dynamic network model by examining the evolutionary search properties and fitness distributions of large numbers of offspring from random and evolved populations of dual dynamic networks configured with operational parameters to enable an abstraction of hierarchically organized levels of adaptations. The results indicate that the ability to track a dynamically changing environment may be easier when the dynamics of the adaptable system are governed by both weak and strong influences that are coupled in a linearly modulatory fashion
