Abstract :
In the paper a novel robust controller design for switched discrete-time system is developed. Robust stability and performance is treated by pole-placement approach. LMI approximation of discrete-time pole region for prescribed stability degree and damping factor is employed. The respective robust stability condition for switched system is developed by applying Lyapunov stability condition on prescribed LMI pole region. The obtained results are illustrated by simulation example and application on laboratory plant.
