Abstract :
In this paper the stability of various oscillation modes of three-phase ferroresonance in a network with isolated neutral is studied. The three-phase ferroresonance problem is first described within a system-theoretical framework. State equations are presented and stability conditions derived. Two methods are compared to calculate the domain in a two-parameter space where periodic oscillations can occur. The methods are extended to incorporate quasi-periodic oscillations. Finally, a field case is presented
