Abstract :
A CMOS current reference circuit without resistors is described. The output current is obtained by the difference between currents with positive temperature coefficients (PTC). The circuit is designed in 65 nm CMOS standard process, operates in the temperature range [-40, +140] °C with supply voltage from 2.2 V to 2.8 V (2.5 V nominal) and generates 1 μA reference current. It has 10.5 ppm/°C temperature coefficient, 0.95 nA/V line sensitivity and -190 dB power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) at low frequencies.
