Empirical study on correlation and effectiveness about technology transformation in China

By using method of DEA, this paper studies the relationship about science and technology R&D input and regional economic growth based on the statistical data of 31 provinces (autonomous regions or municipalities) from 2008 to 2009 in China. Based on Correlation Theory, this paper not only studies the relationships between the industrialization of science and technology achievements, but also calculates the efficiencies of technology transformation of each province and technological achievement by using DEA. The conclusion of evaluation would to be as reference for the relevant government departments to make useful decision.
