Abstract
This paper deals with practical aspects of long time delays dynamic system optimization. In the first part, the paper introduces the system - an atypical flat - and explains the heating problem optimization. The first part also defines independent heating zones. The paper proposes a technical implementation of individual controlled zones and necessary software requirements in the second part. The third part of the paper introduces a control strategy to ensure optimal heating from the economical point of view. The last part of the paper shows real data and evaluates the benefits of the selected control strategy.
