Abstract
This paper presents a novel efficient method to find submatrices in Loss of Heterozygosity (LOH) data that represent the relationship between specific SNPs loci and particular types of lung cancer. The approach is shown to perform well by experimental results with the SNPs data of 113 samples consisting of 12 normal persons and 101 lung cancer patients. The analyses on results testified the effectiveness and accuracy of the method in discovering chromosome segments related to suppressor genes of lung cancer.
