Research on the location choice of Chinese oversea direct investment

This paper first reviews the studies of China´s foreign direct investment, and then discusses factors that may influence China´s outward FDI location and establishes a model based on the gravity model. Based on the dates collected from China´s 17 major investing object countries over the recent six years, this paper finds that Chinese companies tend to invest in countries with higher trade volume with China.
