Abstract :
This paper presents a formulation of a comprehensive optimization problem for the operation of the customer-driven microgrid - an evolution of today´s distribution feeders into feeders with significant distributed generation, demand response capability and communication infrastructure. Multiple test-cases are presented to assess the proposed formulation. Approaches to implementation are discussed.
