            Abstract :
In this paper a novel blind adaptive decoding algorithm based on marginalized particle filter (MPF) method is developed for multipleinput multiple-output orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (MIMO-OFDM) communication systems. Blind channel detection requires all the sub-carriers to be considered together for better performance. This results in prohibitive computational requirements in developing an adaptive blind receiver for MIMO-OFDM systems based on the MPF algorithm. Based on a recently reported approximate blind adaptive MIMO receivers and exploiting the properties of discrete Fourier transform (DFT) we have developed a blind adaptive MIMO-OFDM receiver with affordable computational requirement. Simulation examples and an analysis of computational complexity is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
