Abstract :
By the institute for information industry commissioned planning and design of Taichung in central Taiwan Science Park WiMax wireless network system, the whole Chungke area is 3 km by 3 km. All antennas are directional and are mounted to the sides of 7 buildings, A basic requirement is that the area coverage being at least 90 %. The system starts out with 25 sites, to achieve the required 90 % coverage and minimize the number of sites used, SA (Simulated Annealing) is used. An optimal selection of 8 sites covers 91% of the service area.
