Abstract :
The electromagnetic fields and dyadic Green´s functions in a circular chirowaveguide with ideally conducting boundary are formulated. The calculated dispersion curves are depicted and the effects of chirality are shown as well. The first several hybrid modes including the dominant mode propagating in the circular chirowaveguide are plotted to compare with their counterparts in the circular isotropic waveguide. As the application of the dyadic Green´s functions, numerical results of the modes excited by an infinitesimal dipole are presented.
