Abstract :
Summary from only given, as follows. This paper presents new and convenient methods of modeling electromagnetic devices with multiturn windings attached to circuits. The example transformer has resistors on both its primary and its multiturn secondary windings. Analyses of the transformer, first with 2D and then with 3D finite elements, obtain winding currents that agree with classical theory.
