Abstract :
The paper presents a high performance vector controlled permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive with dead-time compensation based on vectorially disturbance estimator. Dead-time provided in the inverter will degrade the performance of the PMSM drive. The performance of the PMSM drive is improved by feed forwardly adding the disturbance voltages, which are obtained by vectorial operations of flux linkage increments and unit back emf function.
