Abstract :
We report our experience with noise reduction of a electro optic pulse switch out system which uses a Behlke ultrafast HV MOSFET switch coupled to an electro-optic Pockels cell. EMI was experienced in the pulse switch out system and it was found to be radiatively coupled to the detection system. Various measures for reduction of radiated noise from an HV ultrafast switch were examined and have been described.
