In recent years, the global banking tends to transform revenue structure, to which the contribution of intermediary business was sharply rising. However, the intermediary business of Commercial Bank of China having made rapid progress, remains lag behind largely compared with that of the developed countries. Based on the comprehensive analysis of development theory of the intermediary business, as for the four representative large-sized commercial banks, this paper analysis the external and internal variables influencing the development of intermediary business by the method of time series analysis and panel data analysis and checks the correlation between factors and development of intermediary business to find sticking point and then give some effective suggestions and measures.
