  • Abstract
Using Ultra-weak biophoton detection technology, the effect of different light quality on morphogenesis of the garlic seedling was researched. The results showed that: the DL (delay luminescence) intensity of seedling increased with growing of the garlic seedling, which the intensity of DL under natural condition was higher than others conditions (red light, yellow light and blue light), but the attenuation of DL under natural condition was slower than others condition; The amount changes of Chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b and the total chlorophyll were parallel to the changes of the Ultra-weak biophoton. These results suggested that ultra-weak biophoton emission might close to the development of chloroplast and photosynthesis, which represented the whole change tendency of the development of plant system and had wonderful future application in morphogenesis research.
