Abstract :
The purpose of a university is to instill good morals in its students, cultivate good character, expand th e student´s competence set (knowledge and skils), increase the student´s knowledge about the world, and in general prepare them for the problems they might face ahead in their lives and careers. How can we design an interdisciplinary education model that best achieves this goal? We can utilize concepts from network intelligence to understand how an interdisciplinary education can expand the competence sets of our students by expanding their knowledge and skills. In this paper, we propose a basic framework for achieving excellence in interdisciplinary education in the e-era, and, we used the Value Theory based on superadditive fuzzy measure identification to illustrate its benefit.
