Abstract :
This paper is on the application of absorbing boundary conditions for the 2-D controlled source audiofrequency magnetotelluric (CSAMT) sounding calculation by the finite element method. In geophysical electromagnetic field problems, the absorbing boundary condition is introduced, which makes the boundless region convert into the finite and provides a promising method for calculation of multi-mediums.
