Abstract
There is no need for a reference signal in a CMA-based adaptive array, so it is commonly used in communications. For multipath propagation and interference signals, the antenna receives several constant modulus (CM) signals, so a method must be developed to control the convergence behavior of the CM array towards the needed signal. In this paper a new method of initialization and prediction of the CMA-based adaptive array is developed. Simulation has also shown the method is practical.
