  • Abstract
    Mobile terminals provide an increasingly important communication channel in facilitating social connections [1]. There is a large number of terminal-based social applications appear in our lives and more and more traditional SNS community begin to offer their services on mobile terminals. However, the research we conduct shows that most of the traditional SNS communities in the provision of mobile social networking services just simply move the traditional social networking to mobile devices, without fully utilizing of local abilities. To solve this insufficient, in this paper we will propose the concept of terminal coupling to analyze the differences it brings to the service experience with different coupling degree and then propose and implement a new social networking service architecture which has strong terminal coupling property. With this property, the mobile social networking service architecture can make full use of the terminal abilities to provide a better experience from the traditional services.
