Abstract :
In this paper, the radiation characteristic of the coaxial multi-mode horn of two chokes is analyzed using the moment method and the geometrical theory of diffraction, and expressions for the directional pattern are given. Experimental results of the coaxial multi-mode horn of two chokes agree with the computation at C-band. It shows that the feed is not only a main lobe, which is symmetrical with respect to rotation, but also a uniform phase center of the E-plane and H-plane, low cross polarization and VSWR less than 1.4.
