            Abstract :
In this paper, the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method with the second-order Mur absorbing boundary conditions (ABC) is used to investigate the shielding effectiveness of an enclosure. A metallic container with an aperture of different area and locations and the effect of double shielding were studied. The shielding coefficient of a practical container is analyzed.
