  • Abstract
    Parallel I/O is a key operation in MPI environment. Among the various parallel I/O schemes, the collective I/O has been widely used by many applications, especially for accessing the continous file. In this paper, firstly, a summary description of the scheme is given, and then a detailed analysis of the collective I/O scheme is conducted for continous file. The experimental results show that the effectiveness and scalability of the scheme when varing the file size and accessing block size.
