Summary from only given, as follows. A new method for the optimal design of electromagnetic devices is proposed. The method utilizes the Hopfield Network and an Improved Simulated Annealing (ISA) procedure. Results of an implementation example are gives to show the validity and effectiveness of the proposed method.
