Abstract :
The spatial potential distribution in electro-optic measurement was calculated by the quasi-static finite difference method with the coplanar waveguide as model. An electro-optic sampling system utilizing the semi-insulator GaAs crystal as probe material was fabricated to verify the numerical calculation. The results calculated by the computer-aided Gauss-Seidel iteration method showed better agreement with the experimental values.
