  • Abstract
    The paper presents the application of texture-based method in simulating river flow, describes its detailed process for flow simulation, uses the test model to analyze the impact laws of background noise texture, spatial distribution and temporal changes of noise texture, transparency coefficient on the flow simulation effect, studies the noise texture enhancement technology and real-time generation of attribute texture. The method is applied in simulating flow field based on virtual reality technology with the reach between Three Gorges Project and Gezhouba Project of Yangtze River as an example. The result shows that there is a wide application prospect of the texture-based method in the field of water conservancy.
