Abstract
This paper proposes a model-based approach for the design of an interpolator to be used with data sampled from a specific system. The method utilizes knowledge of the sampled system in the design procedure and allows nonlinearities to be included. Results are compared to curves produced by spline interpolation algorithms for a simple example
