Abstract
Along with the abundance of traffic types and increase of requirements to QoS, the way to allot the limited resources becomes more and more important. This article analyzes the problem of bandwidth allocation for video traffic according to three traffic models and puts forward corresponding calculation methods. The results of simulation demonstrate that under the condition of fixed buffer size, the method based on the log-normal-FARIMA model provides much smaller loss rate.
