Abstract :
Adhering to the principle of sustainable development, the multiobjective water resources optimization model which takes benefits of economic, social and environment as the object was proposed. The model is of the characteristic of large scale system and nonlinear. The genetic algorithm (GA) was applied to solve the model. The GA has strong global searching ability and can avoid premature convergence. The theory and method were applied to Daqinghe River region in China. The calculation results show that both domestic and environmental water demands can meet requirement in years with 50%, 75% and 95% rainfall frequency, the harmonious indexes all in excess of 0.8. The proposed model and the solution method are effective and feasible.
