That manufacturing enterprise to participate in horizontal merger and acquisition(M&A) will influence not only enterprise scale but also supply chain structure, and will lead to supply chain cost change. This paper analyzes the restructuring of supply chain and its impact on supply in horizontal M&A. Grounded on sample from horizontal M&A cases of China´s listed companies in manufacturing industry, the paper studies the change of supply-chain structure. And it tests the relationship between supply chain structure and supply chain cost. This study provides some references to the decision-making of horizontal M&A.
