Abstract
In this paper the LTR (loop transfer recovery) properties of the RHC/FIRF (receding horizon control with FIR filter) law, which stabilizes stochastic linear time-varying systems with model uncertainty, are analyzed. It is shown by the frequency domain analysis that the RHC (receding horizon control) is robuster than the LQ control. The explicit LTR procedure is adopted to improve the performance robustness of the RHC/FIRF law. Using the mismatch function technique proposed by Chen et al. (1991), the LTR approach is presented, which makes the RHC/FIRF controller recover the feedback properties of the RHC law. Also, via simulation, the LTR performance of the RHC/FIRF law is compared with conventional LTR methods
