Abstract
The issue of adaptive suboptimum detection of wideband signals corrupted by nonwhite noise or narrowband noisy jamming/interference has been considered. A general scheme of the detector was derived and a simulation of DS-SS reception was carried out. The results point out a high detection gain with respect to the white noise case (up to several tens of dB).
