Abstract :
Multiple input multiple output (MIMO) can be used in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems to improve communication quality and capacity of a wireless communication system. In this paper, we present a novel iterative channel estimation algorithm based on time-domain filtering. Compared with the conventional channel estimation techniques, the iterative channel estimation algorithm based on time-domain filtering can employ a low-pass filter in the time domain in each iteration so that the multiple antenna subchannel interference (MASCI) and additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) are significantly reduced. The simulation results show the techniques can improve the channel estimation accuracy effectively.
