The purpose of the study was to evaluate the influence of creative-thinking teaching on the learning effectiveness of the students. A quasi-experiment with nonequivalent pretest-posttest group design was used. The subjects were the eighth graders in Dong Hu Junior High School in northern Taiwan. The findings suggest that creative-thinking teaching enhances the learning achievement of Construction Technology in Living Technology Education. In addition, it has a positive influence on the teaching methods, curricular arrangement, and personal experience.
