Abstract
The paper deals with a recycling system that consists of a factory, a market, and an external. In the system, products are manufactured from parts and remanufactured from collected products. Collected products are decomposed at a decomposition process and classified into wastes to be disposed, parts to be used at the process for producing products, and disabled products to be used at the process for remanufacturing products. This paper develops production policies for a recycling system with manufacturing/remanufacturing and evaluates the developed policies by measuring the costs and environmental impacts via mean value analysis
