Abstract :
Preliminary results on man-made noise in the frequency range 1 to 3 GHz are presented. The measurements are required for the development of man-made noise models as a function of frequency, time, location, and traffic load. The models will be used for the proposed Universal Mobile Telecommunication System (UMTS)
