Abstract
China is already the world´s fastest-growing car market and is going to be one of the world´s biggest PHEV´s markets. Motivated by both of the PHEV´s and traditional vehicles´ parking requirement in urban area and the upcoming off-board charging demand from PHEV owners, It is very urgent to construct combined parking decks, which contain both charging space and parking space, in urban area to satisfy those demand. In this paper, we develop a series of analysis to optimize the construction of “charging-parking” combined parking deck based on the computer simulation technique. We discover that the relationship among different factors includes: (1) The configuration of the parking deck should be reasonable; (2) The customer´s average balking rate is relevant to the configuration of the parking deck and the PHEV´s market share; (3) The average leaving state of charge only depends on the rated power of charger.
