Abstract
A general class of passive macromodelling algorithm for multiport distributed interconnects is presented. A new theorem is described which specifies sufficient conditions for matrix-rational approximation of exponential functions in order to generate a passive macromodel. Also an efficient approach for sensitivity analysis of lossy multiconductor transmission lines in the presence of nonlinear terminations is described
