Abstract :
Electric drives are a multidisciplinary field where electric machinery, different types of driven units, mechanical transmission, automatic control, power electronics and microcomputer control meet themselves. The great practical meaning because of large, multibranch industry applications, only increases the importance of studying electric drives. The real learning of electric drives has to include laboratory training with all modern, education means as computer simulation and video tutorials. However, the bases are the real electric machinery with appropriate converters, controls, protection and driven units or their imitator with different speed-torque characteristics n(T)
