Abstract
Spatially-weighted magnetostatic wave (MSW) transducers are analyzed using the authors´ previously developed general equivalent circuit model for MSW devices. The energy conversion factor in the equivalent circuit is discussed theoretically. The spatial weighting of transducer electrodes and the effective conversion factor are discussed. This technique is very effective in the design of MSW devices when some specific design requirement other than a simple filter characteristic is imposed
