Abstract :
An electromagnetic model of a planar stratified structure with an isotropic chiral grounded slab under planar electric excitation conditions is presented. The solution is obtained by using the multidimensional Fourier transform applied to the partial differential equations describing the electromagnetic field, and expressed in terms of dyadic (electric and magnetic) Green´s functions. Equivalent circuit representations of the electromagnetic problem solution with an example of the evaluation of the pattern radiated by an electric vertical point-source located at the interface plane between the chiral slab and the homogeneous isotropic upper half-space are given
