  • Abstract
Motional skill plays a very important role, especially if we consider learning skill motion in the area of distance learning. Knowledge and experience are passed on by way of observation. These kinds of nonverbal communication makes the exact transfer of knowledge and experience very difficult because a teacher and students cannot easily and fully share the common perspective and points of focus. With this in mind, we developed prototype systems toward such a direction that motion is intelligently codified and classified by types so that nonverbal knowledge can be symbolized. To share motion, it is very important to transmit not only its results but also its processes. Therefore, this system extracts the parameters from a process of motion and classifies motion by some characteristics using a cluster analysis method. As the students can be classified by types or by abilities, it permits group learning or a buddy system, and students can learn interactively together
