Abstract :
New slanted chirped transducer (SCT) geometries leading to a significant improvement of triple transit suppression (about 30 dB when compared to a traditional single finger slanted chirped transducers delay line), with a good frequency response and without increased microlithography difficulties are presented and analyzed. This is achieved by canceling out reflected waves through the use of new GII or GIV SCTs with the single finger (SF) SCT used for the frequency filtering of unwanted signals. The SF/GIII and SF/GIV associations allow the use of single fingers on YZ LiNbO3 to obtain long delay lines with excellent electrical performance
